Mobbin Monday

Mobbin Monday has been holding it down in Pomona for nearly 15 years. Although I’m originally from the area, this was only my second time doing the ride. We met in downtown Pomona, just across from the Glasshouse, with plenty of parking available if you're driving to the start. Mobbin Monday is a party on wheels, but they also push the pace, holding regroups to keep everyone together.
At the starting point, you’ll see all kinds of riders hanging out before rollout, with a variety of bikes from laced-up racers to makeshift cargos and Bromptons. I showed up on my Omnium wearing Crocs. At first, I was a little nervous about keeping up, but I put my Crocs into "Sport Mode" and managed to hold on just fine.
The group sets a solid pace on the straights but does a great job of waiting at the regroups, making it feel supportive for riders of all speeds. Personally, I love groups like this—rides that challenge you to get stronger and faster while still keeping it all about the fun of bikes. This week, we did a lap around Benelli Lake, which steals my heart every time.
Toward the end of the ride, there's a brief store stop before heading back to the starting point. You can choose to hang out there or join some of the crew for street tacos.
The Official Pink Tag Review?
5 out of 5 stars!
If you're in the area or passing through like I was, I highly recommend this ride.
