S.B.B.D. is a go!

Yesterday, I left Portland and embarked on my mission to spread Pink Tag nationwide! I still can’t believe this is actually happening—not just the trip, but Pink Tag in general. When I started gaining real traction with PTB, I made a joke about how I wondered how far this stem bag would take me. And now, after leaving my job at OHSU, I’m really going to chase that idea and see just how far I can take this bag. I’ve loaded up 93 bags on my cargo bike and have 30 more at home, ready to be shipped to me for a resupply. I’m writing this from the Amtrak, somewhere a little south of Oakland, and I’ve already sold one bag to a fellow train traveler!

I’m notorious for planning things last minute, and this trip is no different. It wasn’t until this morning that I even had my train and hotel in San Diego figured out, lol.

I’ll be spending Thursday in LA seeking out my first couple of bike shops in the area, then reconnecting with old friends. Friday, I head to San Diego, and I am so pumped for NACCC!

I’ve never been a blogger before, so bear with me as I explore this. I will be adding a donation link to my website if you’d like to sponsor a coffee or hotel room along the way. And if any companies want to partner with Pink Tag, please reach out!

Is there something you’d like to know about the trip? Leave your thoughts in the comments.

Thank you,

Stephen

I arrived at Union Station Los Angeles after a 31 hour train ride from PDX.
