TBD Cycling
This was a straightforward Saturday morning social ride, no frills, no party, just a group of cyclists coming together for a pleasant morning spin. The ride began in Georgetown, a neighborhood in NW DC, and followed a 20-mile loop along some of the most beautiful bike trails I’ve ever experienced. Fall on the East Coast is incredible.
The pace was on the faster end of casual, and the group was friendly and welcoming. There were about ten riders in total, with nearly half being first-timers like myself. Midway through the ride, we stopped for coffee, giving everyone a chance to chat and connect. After the break, we headed back toward the starting point, and a few miles from the end, some riders split off to head their separate ways.
It was a classic, simple ride, with great company.
