Illinois pt. 2

This second trip to Chicago was brief and really, really cold. Over the four days I was there, it never got above freezing. I hadn't planned on coming back to stay, but with holiday travel booking up all the trains, it was pretty unavoidable. But I really like Chicago, so I didn’t mind. The only riding I did was to and from the hostel to Union Station, but I still went out and explored a bit, using public transit and walking. I visited Mack’s Bikes and Goods and stopped into BFF Bikes to say hello. BFF had sold out all the bags they originally purchased, so I was excited when they restocked with five more bags!

As I get closer to home, I feel more and more anxious about whether this trip will pay off, whether shops will reorder or if people will seek out Pink Tag Bags online to buy directly from the website. I am trying to stay optimistic, and BFF needing a restock definitely boosted my morale a little.

I'm on my way to Seattle now for the final stop of the tour, with all of this ending soon I’m feeling nervous, but excited to see where things go.
