Community, and Navigating Tomorrow

Bike Monday Bros - Richmond, Virginia

The past few days have been hard for many of us, and there’s a lot of uncertainty about the future. We’ll all feel and be affected by these changes in different ways, but we’re a community. My mission with Pink Tag Bags, and as an individual, is to uplift those underrepresented in our community, and this commitment doesn’t stop when we lock up our bikes. As policies attack bodily autonomy, people of color, and other marginalized groups, I’ll continue to support anyone who needs it as best as I can and will continue to use this platform to do it. And while community is at the heart of Pink Tag Bags, I expect that anyone with one of my bags to do the same.

Many of us need space for healing and recovery right now, but we’ll be here tomorrow to keep pushing forward. Let’s continue building community spaces, having the tough conversations, and making it clear that we won’t stay silent while those in power attempt to take away our rights and the rights of our neighbors.

To everyone reading this, I am here for you. And when you’re able, find a way to support your community. Whether it’s starting a social ride, reaching out to a friend who might need support, or organizing an event to uplift a cause or group you believe in, we all have a role, and our actions matter. Donate your time and energy to create the changes we need. I will continue to do all of this as well.

The choices we make every day add up, so let’s do our part today, and every day, for a better tomorrow.

In solidarity,
Stephen
